about. is the work of Olvi Jasinta van de Reepe, a Dutch based illustrator and designer, born in Indonesia in 1975. I specialize in illustration and design for the print and digital world.

While working for different design and advertising agencies for about 15 years I created many visual identities, logos, paintings, concepts and foodlabels. The last 4 years I worked for a food retail organisation as a senior designer where I developed a complete new brand identity. I spend my leftover time working on different personal and freelance projects.

In 1976 I was adopted from Indonesia to the Netherlands and have always wanted to know where I come from.

The first contact with my family was made back in 1988 and since two years we have been very close. To keep in touch with them means the world to me.

However, that also means that living between two worlds is not always easy. To give those feelings a positive twist, I am happy to work voluntary for the My Roots foundation, which helps co-adoptees find their biological family. This organization was founded by Christine Verhaagen & Ana Maria van Valen, who are also adopted from Indonesia to the Netherlands. Because this foundation is a non-profit organization and can use any financial support, I want to use my creative profession to generate new merchandise to collect money for the My Roots Foundation.
